For the Heizhausfest at the Hilbersdorf Railway Museum, the Balloon Festival (Ballonfest) in Chemnitz’s Küchwald and the European Skateboard Festival BDTSK8 in Konkordia Park Chemnitz, the following additional services will be available on 23 and 24 August 2025:
- Additional services on MRB line RB 30 between Hohenstein-Ernstthal and Flöha, providing half-hourly services on this section between 9:00 and 18:00. Please use the car parks at the stations. The Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf stop provides direct access to the entrance of the Saxon Railway Museum.
Additional services at weekends
Additional services generally ordered as part of the Capital of Culture programme at weekends on regular routes:
- >Hourly service on the CBC’s RB 92 Stollberg – Glauchau route
- Hourly service on PlusBus lines 207 Chemnitz – Marienberg and 210 Chemnitz – Annaberg-Buchholz operated by RVE

We have arranged the following additional services for the large concerts in Chemnitz-Küchwald on 6 and 10 August 2025:
- Additional RE 6 MRB services at 11:59 p.m. and 12:59 a.m. from Chemnitz Central Station to Leipzig with an additional stop in Chemnitz-Küchwald
- Additional RB 30 MRB services at 0:30 a.m. to Zwickau and Dresden
- Additional PlusBus line 650 RBM services to and from the venue, stopping as usual at Küchwaldring/Leipziger Str., with extensive parking available in Hartmannsdorf at Anton-Günther-Platz and in the Chemnitz Centre
- Additional trips on PlusBus line 526 RVW as shuttle service, use parking spaces in Limbach-O.
- CVAG is also operating additional trips on line 21 to Chemnitz-Center -> use parking spaces there
The wine festival in Chemnitz will take place from 25 July 2025 to 17 August 2025. We have set up the following additional services for you:
Saturday + Sunday, 26 July to 17 August 2025:
- Additional services on C 11 – half-hourly until approx. 8 p.m. (CBC)
- Additional services on C 14 to Thalheim – half-hourly together with C13 until approx. 8 p.m. (CBC)
